Cruise In and Win Week

Robert Ziecik
Chicago, IL

Robert says it's very cool to be here. His parents, Genevieve and Stanley, are in the audience. They came to America from Poland with one suitcase and $50, then worked in factories so Robert could do well, both professionally and by being here on the show. Robert wants to pay them back as much as possible and just make them proud of him.

Meredith asks the computer to randomize the money and the questions. The unrandomized Topic Tree is not shown.

One's appetite might be reduced after any surgery. Does that discount still apply when the recovery period is over? :P

[Googling to answer my own question.] Well, it appears they've got some specific rules about that!
Gastric Bypass Surgery Policy

Year #1 – 50% off base price.
Year #2 – 10% off base price.
Year #3 – 0% off base price.
Incomplete Documentation – 0% off base price.
To receive the reduced price you must provide the following documentation!

Photo ID
Gastric Bypass Card with Patient Name and Date Of Original Surgery.
Proof of Surgery via a Doctors Signature or other Documentation.

NOTE: This policy is intended as a short-term price adjustment to accomodate a person whose intake is limited due to gastric bypass surgery.
Sheesh!

Oh, and I see that the Shady Maple Smorgasbord isn't in Shady Maple, as I had assumed. You'd think those New York question writers would be a little more specific! :P
