Before the medical issues with MarleysDad came up, I was considering a splurge on an epic 38-day cruise on the National Geographic Endeavour, from Ushuaia to Las Palmas. That trip started yesterday. <sigh>

3 Sleeps, Saucy! You go, girl!
Ours is a little less than we originally wanted, but we compensated by being able to take the boys with us this time. Who knows how many more "family vacations" we'll get?
It's a 5 nighter, out of Mobile, AL, which means we can drive it in one day. We go to Cozumel and Calica on Carnival. We usually cruise Royal Caribbean, but their prices have gone up so much that we decided to bank those points and go with the cheaper line. The boys will probably like it better, anyway -- more peeps their own age.
And yes, I stole the sig idea from you. I love it, though!

I get lots of "family" vacations. He's the only one who gets to go away, to camp etc. LOL. Last real away time I had was Jipterwest in Vegas in 2001
This will be a total vacation for me....for 16 days, I will not be "Mom". I will be Saucy!

We're doing that one too -- next year. Next year is Wendy's 40th birthday and our 20th wedding anniversary. So we'll take a longer and more luxurious cruise for that one.
