Carmelo Cruz
Teaneck, NJ

Carmelo has been on a lucky streak ever since he got the call to be on Millionaire. He got a job offer while filling out the questionnaire for the show. Losing his job turned out to be a good thing in another way - losing his job gave him the time to run and he's lost 60 pounds. He feels so much better now, more full of energy. Carmelo has $26,100 in the bank but no lifelines remaining.

Since the question is talking about dividing into pieces, Carmelo knows which one is the right answer.

A - The Grinch: At It Again
B - A Christmas Story 2
C - Life is Still Wonderful
D - Another Miracle on 34th Street

Carmelo wonders why any holiday classic would have a sequel made. He can't be sure of anything he's seeing on the screen and hasn't heard of any of them, either. He has no more lifelines so he's going to have to walk away. It's painful to say it but that's his final answer.
Spoiler
Answer: B (A Christmas Story 2)

The only reason I knew this one is because I saw the DVD down at the local Krogers and wondered the same thing -- why did they make a sequel? Now I have to have it . . .

That's the origin of "pieces of eight", also.

I saw this when looking for Patrick Stewart's version of "A Christmas Carol" on iTunes. I couldn't imagine why they would make a sequel to "A Christmas Story" - but then again I'm one of the few who doesn't particularly care for the original.
