Sherry-Ann Rowland
Jersey City, NJ

It's the final day of Broadway week and Sherry-Ann will be playing for tickets to Mary Poppins for herself and a whole row of the audience. Backstage Sherry-Ann said that she's having a "Cinderella moment". She was looking at the amount in her bank ($13,500) and said that this is like fairy tale. She just celebrated 15 years of marriage and this money will help her continue the fairy tale. Sherry-Ann still has one JTQ and her ATA remaining.

Not quite. That thread said Barr ran in the presidential election as the candidate of the Peace & Freedom party. So she got that nomination after losing the Green party nomination? Was she going to go down the list of obscure minor parties until one of them gave her the nod?

Yeah. I had an aunt who became a polio victim in 1950, so I knew this date was too early. The smallpox vaccination has been around since 1796, though, so I'm wondering what the question writers thought the significance of this 1947 event was (aside from being a WWOQ with a really nasty distractor).

I'm not sure why 72 votes is "impressive".

1947 is too early for polio and I don't think cholera is a serious problem in the U.S. even in 1947. I don't know if there is a vaccine for plague, so I'll go with smallpox.
