It stunned me when he jumped the presidents question; he seemed to methodically rule out A, B, and C, and then said, "So I'm gonna have to jump this." The audience seemed surprised too.

This sort of story turns up from time to time, where some government body leaves the naming of something to a public poll, giving the public the freedom to suggest their own names. Invariably, it turns out "bad". :twisted:

You'd think they'd have learned by now to only let the public choose from a list of pre-approved names. :P
