Congratulations in advance, but I'll be sad to see taurus drop off that list.

Damned center square of a Scrabble board! :(

I see I am still creeping past a lot of that stalled traffic over in the right lane. I see that another big bunch is ahead in the distance. Of course how far ahead in the distance is hard to say.

I, on the other hand, feel like I am being tailgated by someone on a cellphone.

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

If you want to though you can think of me as the big SUV driving behind you at night, whose lights annoyingly flood your car and rear-view mirror.

Call him and tell him to go to the library and get on a 'puter.

See if you have some clout.

Perhaps he knows I am stalking him. That is, I am not stalking him so much as sneaking up on his position on the list. This makes him fear me. When I pass him, I shall expect him to write homagey pomes in my honor.

He does fear you.

He fears all of us.

I certainly throw around this stuff more freely when I know he will never read it.

I posted that other post before I read this one.

I'll call him if I can find his number.

The title of this thread sent me googling as I was sure it was a celebrity baby name that I did not know but had to know in order to be pop culture-literate in this country. No matches.

I then searched the board and found the Middle Names thread. I gotta hang around here more to keep from falling behind the times!
