Another thing they did was draw the NBC logo all in one line while they were chiming the notes. All you had to do for this one was to be alive long enough to remember the chimes, which this guy wasn't. WWOQ!

FWIW, Einstein showed that the gravitation pertubations on the orbit of Mercury could be explained by his theory of general relativity. Gene Roddenberry chose the name "Vulcan" because Spock's home planet was supposed to be hot and dry (as depicted in "Amok Time").
