Bill's big bank must have made him skittish. He skipped 2 questions about events he lived through.

Overthinking the questions. He knew "Checkpoint Charlie" was associated with the Berlin Wall and the Cold War. But maybe, just maybe, this location in downtown Berlin was also where some other event related to those other choices took place, long before it became known as Checkpoint Charlie. Maybe, just maybe, Berliners were protesting a museum about that other event because they recognized that a museum about the Cold War would be more appropriate for the location. If you don't remember hearing about the protest (and who thinks that would make the news in any significant way, here in the states?) how can you be sure?

And if the question writers had chosen this question when Cold War was not the right answer, they've have jumped light years beyond wicked in their WWOQs.

I wonder if Christian will get any of grandpa's winnings.

Bill knew they wrote for the Post, but wasn't willing to make the deduction that they still did.

OK, I'm a desultory Facebook user and my relationship status hasn't changed. Given the four choices "D" seems like the right one (since "A" and "C" refer to same-sex relationships and Facebook wouldn't want to exclude those). Perhaps it's because common-law marriages aren't recognized everywhere. I have no idea why it wouldn't be a choice otherwise.

He made the right connection but surely he must have known that the Berlin Wall wasn't in place in 1936. He just couldn't pull the trigger. A shame because he might have made it to the next level.
