Josh Gatewood
Nashville, TN
Josh says he hails from a long line of cowboys and claims that his great uncle captured Geronimo. Although he's from Nashville he likes to consider himself a vagabond. Meredith calls him "the All-American Josh". Josh has lived in seven states and hasn't quite figured out which one is home. His family came to America in the 1600s and then later became cowboys and never set up roots anywhere. He wants to open a Southern fried chicken restaurant, all organic, called Yankee Doodle Dandy, in New York City. His parents, June and Jim, are in the relationship seats. Meredith tells him about the changes in the lifelines, including the "crystal ball".

C - his car driving on gravel

He's trying to remember how it sounded, reciting the scene. He says is calling to him. Then he asks Meredith if he can flip the lucky penny his mother gave him. Meredith doesn't see why not. He fumbles through his pockets but can't find the penny. "You mean I did this without the lucky penny?" He then takes out a "dip can" (a can of snuff) and says, "this might be a little redneck." He says if the can comes up one way he'll go for it, if it comes up the other way he'll walk. [NOTE: He does this where Meredith can see it but the camera angle isn't good enough for the home audience.] Evidently it came up on the "go for it" side.
