From what I hear, we haven't seen a smashmouth, linebackerU, JoePa coached team like State.

This show is broke
It isn't nothing but a joke
It's just got stiffs who sing in perfect harmony
How much I'd like to snuff the defects and the rejects
Hey I know it's just a show, but there's enough wannabes
This is a MAWG attack
I know I won't get my crack
Yeah I just want my stack, but they stab me in the back
And they just hunger for the younger and the neat and the hip
If ya got the smarts, that ain't enough to make the young AP's flip

Oh when they play, stop now, courage is running out
They back down too many times, and waste all of their lifelines
And if they'd go for it they'd have dough to show for it
But seems every day, you know they'll end up walking at 4K

It was five years ago they cashed in with a smash hit
Mike's invention turned obsession and with Regis they clicked
And they stocked their show with people from the phone game
Just average and boring, but man they were enjoying
But they were too white, they were too bright
They talked too light, so they canned Sad Fred
Because he didn't choose right
And the network politics wanted more chicks
So their M.O. on demo changed to seek a better mix

It ain't no joke when some mama's boy goes home broke
While the MAWGs are turned away and have their chance revoked
The show is broken when Hoboken gets more than just some token
Where Else-What Elses who get on and promptly start a-chokin'
So I sit back, kick back, and watch my show get bushwacked
While my dream of Hot Seat fame is under attack
Put away the crap before it's wraps, like on ABC
You need to be there when you wise up and decide to pick me!
