I ordered D, E, and F for roomie but got it on audio by mistake. Let me know if you want the set of CDs. They are read by Judy Kaye, who has won several Tony awards.

I've been meaning to get started on her, and the only time I've had recently to read is in the car and if I don't use cd's, it makes the other drivers cranky.

You will enjoy them. The reader is quite good.
Get the first ones from the library and start them. It isn't critical, but nicer to do them in order.
They are quick reads.

Depends on what you find critical!
Grafton gives you pieces of the back story of her protagonist, Kinsey Millhone, from the start of her novels. They are chronological but do not keep with with current time. The novels start in the 80's and as far as I know Kinsey is still in the 80's.
I last read the series somewhere around "N" or "O" and have been meaning to carry on for some time now. Heck, I may have to go back and start over before I pick up where I left off as details from earlier novels have a way of playing a role in later ones.
With the publication of
"T" is for Trespass there are now 6 letters left to go. Grafton is now about 68 and tends to publish a new book every other year or so (Her pace has slowed. For a while it was a new book every year). Will be curious to see if she makes it to Z!

I will send it out tomorrow.
Roomie says Kinsey refers to something in book A, in book B or C, so yeah, if you can read ABC first that might be helpful.
I tend to read books and want to see TV episodes in order anyway, as I feel more in tune with whatever the writer was trying to accomplish.

I'd be curious to see what she does after she gets to Z (if she makes it).
