We had warm weather (60ish) today but it's a very short reprieve. Snow and freezing rain Tuesday and Wednesday projected.

Yep - we're watching it all develop from here, too. Temps have dropped a bit and ground-level winds are very light. Low clouds, however, are absolutely flying by. The local weather guys say we are under all sorts of alerts for about the next 12 hours.

Should be an interesting evening.

I sat on my deck and listened to the Cubs on the radio. It was in the 50's and I felt great. Snow all around me and I was basking in the sun. Of course, tomorrow we're going to drop down and get more snow on Tuesday. oh well.

It was in the low forties and sunny here today-the weatherman said it was going to rain, but he was wrong for a change. Some of our snow melted, but not too much-my lawn is still white.

It's supposed to rain/snow tomorrow night and turn into all snow by Tuesday. Yuck.

I got my first first fire ant bite of the season on Saturday. I was picking up litter at a particularly trashy intersection at the end of my morning run when bitten and spent the rest of the day thinking no good deed goes unpunished. Today my karmic balance was restored as I was picking up another Piggly Wiggly bag of trash and found a dollar bill and was disproportionately cheered.

I was in Denver yesterday for a record-breaker -- 74 degrees F.

When I left this morning, it was 27 and snowing.

Springtime in the Rockies, as my dear sainted father used to say.

It rained here yesterday and today it was warmish.

I took the girls to the mall and we bought summer dresses.

I just checked the weather for Norman and it looks like SC is just about to get the brunt of the storm. Hope it's not too bad. 75 and sunny here today. We had lunch out by the pool. Looks like the storms in Oklahoma today should come our way by tomorrow night. Pretty typical spring weather in south for sure.

Well, it may be Spring down there in the south, but it's just the start of Unlocking* up here! That means two months of a mixture of wintry and spring-like weather. And this weekend was more of the wintry part of that, although it was nice and sunny today.



*I will repeat the Six Season meme until people realize that makes sense for northern climes.

My line of storms finally has passed through, accompanied by a cold front. Snow is likely for tomorrow.

I made a big mistake. I let Lizbit go outside once everything had settled down. She returned as a mudball. I will need to give her a bath before bedtime.

The thunder and lightning have been impressive for the last hour or so, and the rain started about 15 minutes ago. The local weather guys are in their element.

Temps are in the mid-60s right now, but it's supposed to get cold tomorrow with snow beginning about mid-day. Looks like we're coming in like a lion.

So true. My lights keep "browning", so I'm currently on battery power with the computer. Glad to hear you guys escaped the bad stuff.

We had high winds last night. They were so bad that I couldn't sleep. This morning the air is totally still.

It's definitely spring-like today, with a forecast temperature of 70. However the bottom falls out tomorrow as a cold front moves through bringing precipitation. Over the weekend the meteorologists said it might be snow, and lots of it; now they're saying it will be 2-3" of rain with occasional snow showers falling.

Rained all night, so we woke to standing water everywhere. The precip turned to sleet around 9:00, but has stopped now. They are still forecasting snow later today and overnight.

Yippee.
