Someday I shall investigate these moving pictures of which you speak. It seems like a funny way to learn a story, though. I like me stories to be glued to the page, word by word, where they can't shift around into different endings and turn up with heroines of the wrong hair color or ugly shoes.

there are rumors that some of these moving pictures are adapted from stories you can read and be glued to a page.

There is this Heathcliffe person, for example. And this Hamlet guy. And, remarkably, they look quite alike.


HOWEVER -- do not trust the moving pictures with Katie Scarlett O'Hara Hamilton Kennedy Butler. She has far fewer children in the moving picture and it dilutes, I think. And annoys me.

But, I am probably in the minority in that.

It bothers me as well.

She neglects her children in the book.
