There are! Yet, by the celebrity-driven rules that the question writers base their unwritten assumptions on, "the Queen" always refers to Elizabeth II.

You'd almost think that a certain revolution hadn't happened. :twisted:

I'm not sure which was more shocking, that Rushdie tweets or that he tweets about the Kardashians. :P

Rushdie tends to have a sense of humor and to be aware of pop culture. His fourth wife was the star of a reality TV show.

Phillip Roth could easily be the subject of a WWOQ this season. Wikipedia refused to accept his input and corrections to its article about a book he wrote, saying that he was not a credible source of information about his own work.
