QB for Calgary, as I remember him, in the sixties.
Threw, scrambled, played well in the playoffs in those days when they still had a two game total point affair for the semi-final, and then a best-of-three in eight days, for the championship in the CFL west.
I assumed then with that nickname he was an aboriginal person, but I don't see that in the obits I have read.
Except that he punted for two years with Washington....
