And now for the final edition of Theme Thursday! While today's theme is not necessarily difficult, it is certainly not as obvious as the past 8 have been. If you get a majority of the songs, you stand a decent chance of figuring it out, but guessing with too few clues will probably not get you the three points in this game....

1 point for the artist, 1 point for the title, and 3 points for the theme....

1. Well, she ain't the kind
Makes heads turn at the drop of her name
But something inside
That she's got turn you on just the same

2. Working in a factory eight days a week
Try to make dollar damn what a beat
Cartoon capers happen in reality
Rich man poor man living in fantasy

3. Father gets up late for work
Mother has to iron his shirt
Then she sends the kids to school

4. We can go dancing, we can go walking, as long as we're together
Listen to some music, maybe just talking, get to know you better

5. Let me tell you how it will be
There's one for you, nineteen for me

6. Billy Mack is a detective down in Texas
You know he knows just exactly what the facts is
He ain't gonna let those two escape justice
He makes his livin' off of the people's taxes

7. Cause all you women is low down gamblers
Cheatin' like I don't know how
But baby, baby
There's fever in the funk house now

8. Sad sack was sittin' on a block of stone
Way over in the corner weepin' all alone.
The warden said, "Hey, buddy, don't you be no square
"If you can't find a partner use a wooden chair"

9. And in the master's chambers, they gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives, but they just can't kill the beast

10. He was turned to steel
in the great magnetic field
When he travelled time
for the future of mankind

11. It hurts to see the man that I've become
To know I'll never see the morning sunshine on the land
I'll never see your smiling face or touch your hand

12. From the park you hear the happy sound of a carousel
Mm-mm, you can almost taste the hot dogs and French fries they sell

Theme?
