Trivia synchronicity. This was Friday's Final Jeopardy:
Spoiler
Nobel Prize Winners
Among the many books he wrote were "The World Crisis", "The Second World War" & "Painting as a Pastime".
I wouldn't have known it had I not seen the Jeopardy clue first, since I didn't know he was a painter before that. I was able to get the Jeopardy clue correct based on the book titles.

Okay, so what does Piz mean?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piz
Piz is also part of the name of many mountains in places where Romansh is spoken, as it means "peak" in that language.
Aha! Although Romansh is one of those topics that may be as obscure as Piz Bernina, I know about that one!

I was reminded of the NPR story about the Christian blackjack players that aired a couple weeks ago.

I figured he'd either walk away or miss the question, given the amount of time that was left and that the show was going into reruns again.

Somehow it's buzzing around my head that Bernina is a Swiss sewing machine company, so <maybe> I go against the audience? Assuming I'd still have that available to me.

Good stack, too bad; he'd been doing really pretty well.
