After the run-up in the bantering, it's too bad he didn't call the team of teachers at his school. For those who didn't see the show, he said they had prepared to issue a "Code Vieira" announcement on the school intercom, which was the signal for a group of teachers to gather for the PAF call. And, presumably, they had to do that as soon as the "in the Hot Seat" call arrived, since there's no time to do so when the real PAF call comes. But Justin was outside this school team.

OTOH, we've seen that team efforts over a speakerphone (or having one PAF repeat the Q&A to the others) can be a challenge, given the time constraints. This question--derivation of "canape"--at least had the advantage of brevity.
