Contest help needed. Vote for me.

#1 Post by rayxtwo » Sat Oct 20, 2007 5:27 am

I entered Southwest Airlines contest hoping to win a free trip to Vegas. If I win I will be in Vegas for seven days (I was already going for four days anyway). If you would, vote for my caption in the contest that says:

"After 12 Vegas buffets, we'll call this "Falbby Road" by rayxtwo.

Heres the link:

http://southwest.spigit.com/Sector/Thre ... sectorid=3

Not sure when the contest ends, but it says the winners lists will be posted Oct. 29th so it must be very soon.

Thank you in advance. Wish me luck.

Good. :)

I just voted for you.

Worth mentioning that this site does not require any registration for folks to cast a vote.

I just voted!

I really loved how it fit the photo, which many of the others didn't.

Well, I turned off my cookies before going over, and it let me just keep clicking. So now you're at the top of the leaderbored if they don't toss my votes later.

You got me a free flight to Sin City, so I s'pose I can try to return the favor...

Turning off cookies works very well. I kept clicking as well.

I'll be in Las Vegas next weekend through Tuesday.

Well I had 307 votes, but now I'm down to 51. I thought they would toss out all those "extra votes". I'm not too far off the lead, so if I get a bunch of votes today, maybe I can win.

Well I had 77 votes, but now I'm back to 59. If anyone is voting more than one time, please stop.

It's not helping because they are taking the votes away. If you are voting more than ones they may be taking the first vote away too.

I really want to thank you for trying to help me this much, but it's not doing any good if you vote twice (or 100 times).

Thanks again,

Ray

I'm behind 96 to 82. More than likely there is not much time left in the contest.

They have changed it so the cookies have to be enabled to vote. I've changed IPs, so I could vote once more legally, and now the button changes to your choice after the vote.

Maybe Mr. #1 will get some votes tossed soon....

I just found out the contest ends Friday night at midnight. I'm going around Thursday and Friday to the public libraries and get on their computers and try and add some votes.

I'm down by nine votes right now, 96 to 87.

Thanks again,

Ray

I just gave you one more, from my work computer.

How does the sprigs/scraps thing work? Does it hurt you that you're also "leading" in the "Top Scraps" category?

Down 113 to 102. It doesn't look good for the home team.
