B4 Team-The List

Week 255

Health.
Fitness.
Taking care of yourself.

What one thing are you going to really work on this week for your health and fitness?

Now that the gym is cleared out of the amateurs, I am going to redouble my efforts to do efficient effective exercise daily. I'm going to also pick some classes to challenge myself.

I pooped out early last night, prolly due to an extra strong cardio workout, and fell asleep while watching the Oscars. That only meant I woke up an hour early, but instead of wasting it in front of the computer as I normally would, I got up and drove to the gym and got my workout done! So now I'm a nice bundle of energy here at school. Unfortunately, unless I sneak in a nap this afternoon, I'm probably going to do the same thing tonight. I don't want to turn into one of those 9:00 guys.

I think I'll work on carb intake this week, since this is SWMBO's second week of Atkins. That way I can help her out while doing something good for me, also.

One more birthday celebration tomorrow, then no more excuses for buying junk. Unfortunately, I'm getting Fund-Raised to death. I have one more Girl Scout who still owes me cookies, and Mini-me came home from baseball sign-ups this weekend with the obligatory box of chocolate to unload for the league. So I just plopped it on the table with the birthday cake and let half of it walk out with the relatives. Lighten their wallets and fatten their waistlines, instead of mine. No one is buying the almond bars, and you know how much I love nuts...

Increase my workout time. I have been pacing my " getting back to speed" long enough.

Seriously considering raising the incline on the elliptical another notch. I like the program I'm on, as opposed to the next one up, and need something to increase the exercise level. Let's see if I can maintain the RPM's for another week without serious muscle ache. Then I'll decide.

Still popping the morning vitamins and herbals to ward off the crud that's been in the family for what seems like forever. It has mostly worked, with the occasional one-day setback for emptying the tissue box.

Otherwise, just keep on keepin' on.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Stop pretending it doesn't matter.

Food log is out on the desk. I WILL use the elliptical 4 times this week.
