That's when I travel to mid-state PA for an audit. To Williamsport airport via Philly, and back the same way. I hope not to find out why you don't do travel audits in the winter or early spring.

If you don't see a wedding blog entry those days, you'll know why.

Williamsport was one of my favorite destinations when I was active as a private pilot. They had a good restaurant at the airport for enjoying "$100 hamburgers". 8)

Good luck going thru Philly. You can be in a world of hurt even with good weather.

That's true of any major city airport. You pays your moneys and you takes your chances.

The 19th and 20th were fine, but today is a different story. Newark has been a mess all day.

EWR, LGA and JFK were all running three to five hours behind on arrivals if the flights hadn't been cancelled completely.

A lot of the regional jets cancelled...most of the mainline flights went out, though. But a lot of the arrivals from Europe had to divert for fuel due to holding in EWR. Visibility was crap, and they were only landing about 30% of the normal volume per hour. The Naughty Norwegian should have been home about 20 minute ago, but is stuck in Houston for the night. Bah.
