I got J! Audition invite-But

#1 Post by Spock » Thu Feb 21, 2008 2:02 pm

For MPLS on Sunday March 9.

But I got the e-mail last Friday-I was supposed to respond within 2 business days. I just got back from Mexico last night-And NO I did not check mey e-mail down there.

I sent the RSVP back immediately this morning-so we will see I guess.

Cross fingers for me that I make it under the wire.

I bet if they're not full they'll let you in. Good luck.

Congratulations!

Let's have them be thoughtful and gracious and understanding.

Let's have them not take their invite back.

I'd expect things to work out fine for you. My opinion is they put that 2 day time limit in there to make it clear that they want quick responses, but then they don't strictly enforce it if you give them a good story.

In the past, I've found them to be very flexible with scheduling issues. Last June, I was originally scheduled for a Sunday (when I had a conflict) and they were very accommodating in letting me reschedule for Monday.

In any event, good luck!

I used "Reply" on the original message they sent me-as my RSVP e-mail.

It went through.

Is that the right format or do I need to send a fresh e-mail to an address that I dig out from the message.

That should work.
