Hey Kay? A quick Q

#1 Post by christie1111 » Thu Feb 21, 2008 9:03 am

Insurance related....

I am hosting a family reunion for about 60 in June. I booked a nearby hall at a nice park for a Sunday brunch. They require a certificate of insurance naming the town as an additional insured.

Would my insurance company charge me for this?

Pretty standard stuff?

Donna, Kay already has left home to drive to the airport. When I get her back to my house late this afternoon, I will call her attention to your post.
I have no doubt she'll respond as soon as she can break free from Annie's adoration.

They will add a "special events" endorsement for a specific time and place on your homeowner's policy. There may be a small fee, but it shouldn't be much, if any.

This reminds me of something GS should know...you can get an endorsement on your homeowners policy to cover wedding gifts received before your child gets married, as they are usually in your care, custody and control until they move into their own place. If you think about it, the amount can really add up in value.
