No ice has appeared in Norman. Most of the freezing rain appears to have gone north of here. My car windshield has frost, but no layer of ice.

The roads seem to be okay.

You must have found some method of sending it our way - radar shows a lot of nasty weather moving into the area and predictions are for an ice storm by noon. There's already talk about early departures from school and work.

Nope, I just looked at a local radar map instead of a national one and it looks like the ice storm is just getting to you. I'd go home right now if I could.

They've just announced that local schools are dismissing early so the word will probably come through here soon also.

I save the White Hot Glare for special occasions. I have started the pre-heating process, though, so it will be ready to go as necessary.
