Ouch!
I thought Ronda was pretty fortunate with her stack randomization, starting with mostly low level questions worth some high level money. Then this happened. Did she conflate Marvin and Goldie into a single character?

Sorry, but I loved seeing her leave with the $1000. She seemed so sure and proud of herself for figuring out Marvin Berry was the right answer. When she locked in her final answer I enjoyed knowing what was coming. The whole week has been filled with yelling at the TV moments, so I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Marvin Berry was a character in the movie...the lead singer of the group at the dance who calls his cousin Chuck Berry.

Yes, that's why I asked if she conflated the two characters, like maybe she thought Marvin worked in the soda shop when his band didn't have a gig?
Milton Baines was also a character from the movie--Marty's future uncle:
Sherman, OTOH, is Mr. Peabody's boy:

Oops, they also used
Sherman Peabody as a character name in the movie. He's the farm boy whose barn Marty crashes into!
[thinking Marty is an alien]
Sherman Peabody: It's already mutated into human form. Shoot it!
Old Man Peabody: [firing shotgun at barn] Take that, you mutated son of a bitch!

No idea, so I'll ATA (Juno having been a relative popular movie).

I imagine that "Sherman Peabody" was a shoutout to the old Rocky & Bullwinkle show. "Marvin Berry" was the lead singer of the group that played at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance.

I saw that - but I don't recall Sherman ever having an "official" last name. One might assume it was "Peabody" because Sherman was always introduced as "this is Sherman, my boy."
