Michael Walsh
New York, NY

Michael is a bartender, but he's decided he wants to go to law school to study constitutional law, and he also wants to open a restaurant. That's a lot of stuff, but Michael thinks if he's good enough, he could do both of them without working too hard. He says he's a terrible cook, but he makes a really good drink.

1. I know that Wendy's is named after the founder's daughter, so that one is out. Not sure about Sara Lee and Victoria's Secret, so I go with Sam's Club.

2. easy. Think China, a country with a lot of people in it. Mao was the leader of China for a long time.

3. This guy needs to study the Supreme Court before he sets foot in law school! I knew this one.

4. easy.

5. easy. Crocodiles in Alaska??? What a weird distractor that was.

I've got all 3 lifelines going into tomorrow.

This looked like a typical low-level question, otherwise the choices would have been like wolves, bears, salmon.

Okay, if it's so easy, which direction are the moose facing?
Spoiler
Trick question! There's one facing both ways!

It's curious that they specifically mention the 2012 edition. Had that even been released when this episode taped, last fall? (Not that the question writers expected anyone to really be familiar with the cover.)

I think Sara Lee is also named after the founder's daughter, and Victoria's Secret after the founder's wife.

When have we ever classified a bartender (or a lawyer or restauranteur) as What Else?

Unless he's on a reality show...

I thought that "What Else?" included bartenders/baristas/wait staff along with aspiring actors because aren't all such service industry workers also aspiring thespians?

Many such people may be aspiring actors, but Michael apparently has other aspirations. IMHO, the "What Else" designation is rejected.
