Yesterday the Hillstrand brothers proved that they knew about more than just fishing, and surprised everyone when they answered a question that two sea captains seemed very unlikely to know. Meredith shows a clip of them answering the $100,000 question. (On the clip Andy says he's so sure of the answer that "it's ridiculous".) After they come out Meredith asks how Andy knew the answer. He replies that he saw her on a late-night talk show discussing breaking down a rifle in the Israeli army. Johnathan kept saying to himself that that was the one that it couldn't be. Andy imitates Dr. Ruth's voice. The Hillstrands are playing for the Seattle Memorial Fisherman's Fund, which helps the families of drowned sailors. This money will mean a lot to them. Andy says that the money helps with expenses. He adds that they have had five good friends drown. The Hillstrands have no lifelines remaining.
