Wedding Blog - BD**2 minus 173

Almost forgot about doing this today, since there's no real news. But hearing "Delilah" by Plain White T's reminded me. GW wants to ask our DJ if he can modify it to make it say BD's name instead of Delilah. Not sure why, since I don't see a real fit with the loving couple and the lyrics. GW apparently does.
I need to apply my calming influence on GW. She is perturbed about the current communication issues between BD and FSIL. I am trying to convince her that a) we can't do anything about it, and b) BD has to work it out with FSIL herself. So c) she (and I) shouldn't worry about it. Better to worry about things where you CAN have an influence. Make that a positive influence.
Meanwhile, the men involved here need to get on the stick. I left the list of hotels back home, having intended to set up the blocks of rooms today from work. I shall have to do this tomorrow. And as far as we know, FSIL hasn't found another chaplain. I can't remember if I mentioned that the gentleman he had been working with is retiring from the Army in April. So FSIL has to start over with his search. BD really does not want a JP. GW wants me to find a rabbi who is willing to do an ecumenical service (good luck with that one, even in the Boston metropolitan area). She can't see FSIL wearing a yarmulke for a full Jewish ceremony, nor will most rabbis perform one if both players aren't Jewish or converting. Stay tuned on this front.
