I'll go out on a limb and say that J.R.R Tolkien did not model any character in the trilogy after a rock star. If the question writers were referring to the movie trilogy, they left out a key word or two.

I think Lizzie is the first contestant to have a nasal piercing if not any visible piercing.

That's an unfair characterization. There have always been some contestants who get a "A" card (i.e., those who get The Call almost immediately).

Oh, and Lizzie is from Where Else, so she might have been one of those contestants who get The Call the evening before their tape date. We've got some episodes airing this week that have been shuffled around, so I'm not sure if there were a significant number of contestants on the previous day who did badly, but that's when TPTB scramble to get some more bodies in the green room.

She was inserted into this episode and the next one. Do you remember this story?

Dead man slated to appear on Millionaire

I saw the contestants surrounding Lizzie tape - that was also the day Benoy Chacko from the story above taped. I believe his run was where Lizzie's ended up being, so I'm nearly certain it won't be aired. I remember Benoy didn't do very well.

I have no idea when Lizzie taped, but the clue that it was a bit later in the season was that they didn't show her unrandomized topic tree. The "randomize the money and the questions" trick wasn't being pulled yet.
