BeBe and Lizbit (and others!)

At our house, when one of the pups chews on their stuffed animals (or Sam's stuffed animals
) invariably the first things to go are the eyes. Do you have any insight (lol) to this? We have many eyeless stuffed animals now.

Maybe that is so they cannot see the next attack.

That's exactly what Casey and Annie do. Casey drops them and starts to work on the stuffing; Annie starts chewing on them. She loves to chew on hard plastic. I imagine she's swallowed a few.

They're crispy, tasty, hidden nuggets that make them think they've gotten some secret something that they weren't supposed to have. Like glasses.

My b-i-l used to feed Tickle Me Elmos to his Rottweilers. They'd go for the eyes first as well!
Then there was this creepy red eyeless furry blob convulsing on the floor. Good times...

When Sam was younger, it used to upset her quite a bit. When the eye chewing happened on her own stuffed animals, she tried to make things better by putting Band-aids over the sockets.

Although I currently am not blessed with any four footers, previous experience shows that four footers of the canine sort, seem to think that if the prey is blind, it cannot get away!

Miss Cindy. I am not a iball eater. If my toys dont have iballs they cant tell I am invisible. That is not the ninja path. Ninjas have inportant rules. I am ninja.
Lizbit told me she eats i bits only by accidently. Sometimes she thinks mom has dropped jelly beens and they landet on the toys. She eats those but they are not as tasty as real jellys. She wishes mom wuld drop more of those real ones.
Some times Lizbit and me bite feet of stufft toys to play tug of toy and the feet get all shreddy. In that case we might take off the rest of the legs to make the toys more tidy.
