Week 254

Okay, peeps, what nice things are you deciding to do for yourself to help your health and fitness this week? You deserve to be nice to yourself.

I have some pilates training coupons a friend of mine gave me because she won them and says she won't use them. So I will call them this week and make arrangements.

I suppose I can eat like a human being, now that the birthday and Valentine stuff is over.

The Godivas have been mostly vanquished, and I'm giving the raspberry ones to my husband (I like them, but I'm a ho for chocolate ganache and have sated my craving...) so they won't tempt me.

I need to find some good vegetables. Lately they've looked limpy. I guess the weird weather hasn't helped...

Hoping for more cooperation from the weather and holidays after this week, as I continue the walks. My wife's birthday is one week after Valentine's Day, so it's a bit of a struggle with all the goodies around and eating out. (Plus she made some incredible chicken and dumplings last week.)

Oh, the daughter unit is looking at buying a treadmill. She's trying to shape up. Does anyone have any recommendations?

This week I am going to work on stretching. I stopped doing my stretches while in Florida. My muscles know it.

After lots of weeks of below-par workouts and their coinciding excuses, I have started off this week with a bang. Good solid workouts on Saturday and Sunday, and an hour of cardio today, because I didn't want to stress my muscles too much with more lifting today.

The snacking is better, and I'm hitting the first plateau, which is frustrating, but at least I know what's happening now, and can account for it.

Time to go put in my PFCT points.
