Question 8 - BROADWAY

A correct answer on this question wins tickets to The Lion King for Alex and for a row in the audience.

In 2011, Samuel L. Jackson donned a prosthetic nose and wig to portray whom in the Broadway play "The Mountaintop"?

A: Thurgood Marshall B: Booker T. Washington
C: Barack Obama D: Martin Luther King, Jr.
Spoiler
He knows A was Laurence Fishburne. He doesn't know of a play with Barack Obama. The title The Mountaintop suggests to him Martin Luther King (but why the nose and wig?). He doesn't know about Booker T. Washington.
He feels bad about it, but he has to walk.
Answer and value
D: Martin Luther King, Jr.
Value: $ not revealed.
Bank: (half of) $46,100
He walks with $23,050.

Because he's a "risk-taker" who came to play. :|

We've heard about this play on the Bored before. When Halle Berry pulled out shortly before it was to open, Angela Bassett replaced her, which scuttled the world premier of Frank's play "Pastoral" at the Pasadena Playhouse. Now that "The Mountaintop" has a firm closing date of January 22, I hope they can re-schedule it soon.

Even if you never heard of the play the word Mountaintop alone, from one of Dr. King's most famous quotes, should have been more than enough to go on. Especially for a "risk taker."
