The picture is not as cute as they are in reality:
$11.25 with tax. Almost free!!!! Platform pumps are comfy and make you very very tall.
Those shoes look tall, but when there is a platform in the front, they don't feel as tall.peacock2121 wrote:Did you people who can walk in such heels learn that as youngsters or is it in your genes and not in mine?
I always look like my knees won't bend or something when I try to walk in those high heels. I even took it on once, tried and tried and I never made it look any different.Bixby17 wrote:Those shoes look tall, but when there is a platform in the front, they don't feel as tall.peacock2121 wrote:Did you people who can walk in such heels learn that as youngsters or is it in your genes and not in mine?
They are taxi shoes. The sort of shoes you wear when you are just walking to from the taxi to inside the restaurant.
I got good at walking in high heels because I worked as a cocktail waitress to help pay for college and law school. We had to wear at least 3 inch heels. Working in heels is hard. For the first couple of weeks, you climb in bed and your calves just start cramping up on you. After a while, you get used to it--it helps to have particularly comfortable heels with inserts in the front to cushion.
So, just walking from the car and back in tall shoes is not so hard. Maybe standing around a few hours at a party would be a little harder. Anything more than that, I have specific heels that I wear that I know I can do that in.
I find it easier to walk in these shoes than some ballet flats with no support. I bought some I'm going to resell--they look pretty but they hit my feet in the wrong place and don't have enough support.
