Friday!
How are you doing with health and fitness stuff?
Howz it going?
This is a little late-ish because I am trying to do my workouts in the morning and then I was the mystery reader in Jackson's class.
In any event, my exercise has been good, and my diet has been okay. I've been eating pretty healthy foods, but I think I need to watch the quanities. I found some old fitness diaries, and there is no reason why I should weigh more now than I did 18 months after having a kid.
Within the next month, I am going to do doctor stuff. I'm overdue with getting a physical. I got out of the physicals habit when I had kiddos because I was just going to the OBGYN, then my regular doc stopped practicing regular medicine because he could make more money doing basic cosmetic stuff and not taking insurance. My husband found a new doctor he really likes, so I am going to visit next.

I have been eating well and exercising well.
I have been suffering from a low grade headache since Monday.
It is either lack of water intake, or I finally have sinus headaches and don't know what they are.
I will pay attention to my water intake and see what happens.

You read mysteries to them? Or do you read in disguise and have them guess your identity?
Did a barely acceptable amount of exercise this week. Still ate an unacceptable amount of salty snacks. Today's weight = 193.4. Moving average = 193.5.
At least I figured out how to get my MP3 player to handle DRM-protected audiobook files and playlists correctly, after some long perusals through the Sansa Clip users forum. So when I do get some exercise, I can be entertained.

First day on pedometer, normal walking around work, no exercise = 3584 steps.
I should be able to walk and swim on Sunday.

Not pleased with my performance so far in February, but this should be a good week. Between the trip to Indianapolis and the ice storm we got here, it's been difficult to get out and do anything. But I have taken some of the suggestions I've gotten here, and doing more stairs and exercise ball-type-stuff.
Got to get about 10 lbs off before the next cruise. I'd be deliriously happy if I could get 20.

Which is when?
Or are you just daydreaming about it?

Nope -- we booked another family cruise for the last week in July. Leaving out of Mobile, AL on Carnival. Who knows how many more chances we'll have to vacation together?

Oh, you definitely have to go for it--while the boys still
want to vacation with you!
End of July in the Gulf could get interesting, hurricane-wise.

Bite thy tongue, Spirit!
Not to make anyone shake in their boots, but the last time we took a family cruise, we spent our layovers on the way back looking at images of the Katrina destruction.
