Yes, this is about Son1111 but the football season is over so I don't get to brag much anymore.

:D

Made the SWC (South West Conn) honorable mention team. Not really a team , but you get the idea.

And also the football team's 'Good Sport' Award.

Not sure what it takes to be a good sport but I think it refers to the time Evan did not take the head off the guy who punched him hard enough to take off his helmet but didn't get a flag. :-)

Anyway, I am proud that the coach thinks he is a good sport kind of guy. Son1111 thinks it has to do with him helping one of the other players who won 'Most Improved'. There were only 4 special awards given so the fact that he won one of them is pretty good.

Now if he would only get to doing those college applications.....

What's the opposite of the Good Sport Award, and would it be a paradox to issue it?

Congratulations to Son1111. As you pointed out, sometimes awards have ambiguous titles. Back in H.S., I was given the Sportsmanship award for football. At the awards banquet, it was explained that the award recognized the player with the most "Raider Spirit" ,whatever that was. Maybe you had to play middle linebacker to qualify.
