Just the other day, I watched "Raiders of the Lost Ark" again along with my two sons (ages 12 and 9) who had never seen it. Believe it or not, they watched it rather reluctantly, preferring to play video games. I insisted, promising them they would love it. Daddy is always right!

I just had a similar conversation with my boys last night regarding the Roots miniseries. I had stumbled upon my video collection of the series, and none of them have seen it. I will convince them.

Depending on their age Roots may prove a bit more of a challenge than Raiders would be!

Early twenties. I'm convincing them it's a cultural icon. Eventually they will humor me to shut me up.
