Happy Christie Day!
It's 11/11/11. Happy Christie Day, everyone! --Bob

Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Happy 1 Day.
I am guessing given your advanced age is that this is your second one of these. Of course, before WWONE it didn't have quite the significance it does now.

Re: Happy Christie Day!
I recall someone proposed a 13-mo 28 day/mo calendar so every month would begin and end on the same day of the week. Ought to be Sunday so the 13th would be Friday. Friday 13/13/13! One or two leap days round out each year.littlebeast13 wrote:I'm still patiently awaiting 13/13/13.....

Better get working on that calendar revision then.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

That was aj.... and as Sprots would say, what a horrific idea!
As much as I like order, I like how the days and dates shift every year even more, and how outside of the ever so rare exceptions to the leap year rule (which haven't and won't occur in any of our lifetimes), every date will fall on each day of the week exactly 4 times in any 28 year span (and February 29 will hit each of the 7 days of the week exactly once).
