I told you, Pea, if you're trying to spend the winter in Florida, you'd better stay down there a while longer!

I'm sure it's worse at your place.

And, BTW, Pea, there's a winter storm watch for tomorrow.
Maybe that doesn't apply downstate, though.

It was 73 here yesterday and will be 65 today.
BUT...in July when we are running the AC non stop and it's 95 outside and everything is all sticky and the humidity is just awful, I will be beyotching. Mark my words, I will be doing some serious beyotching.

Okay.
But if you happen to be vacationing on, say, the coast of Maine in July and start talking about going back home to Mississippi, I'll give you the same advice I'm giving Pea.
It's too soon!

It was 19 degrees outside when we drove home last night.
57 degrees in the house.
We got the house up to 60 degrees overnight.
It will be warm in the house by Thursday morning.

Right now in Frankfort, we have 3 inches of snow with 1/4" of ice on top of it. Not a very fun drive this morning.
