should be almost like new in a few days. I have no idea how I tore the meniscus, but
it's fixed now. I'm hoping I feel a lot better tomorrow than I do now. Very little pain with
the knee itself, however, my head has been killing me all day.

One of the articles on ESPN now calls us the Cardiac Cats. They aged me five years last season, looks like another one of the same!

So are you out for the season or is it week to week?

I love the word meniscus. It is fun to say, though rarely is the context good.
I also like to say Cabo San Lucas.

Get a small, narrow glass and pour some liquid into it. The shape made when the liquid "climbs" the glass inside (or, for some liquids, "muffin tops" in it) is also called a meniscus (and is context-free).

I hope your knee is better soon. Wow that's a big bandage. Is there an ice pack underneath or just lots of protection?

That is always the first definition my brains goes to, then I have to remember that it is also part of the knee.
Hope your gets better really soon.

Just bandaging for protection I suppose. I did ice it most of yesterday afternoon.
I just took regular Advil today and it feels pretty good, except when I try to get up and
walk around. Can't put much weight on it right now. I have crutches, but they are really
more trouble than they are worth.

I could use a Jazzy about now. I like the personalization.

I don't have one of those handy dandy carriers for the car though.
I am thinking about going to get a pedicure - they made me remove the polish from my toes before surgery.

I say we hide the keys to this bad boy and just have people wait on kay hand and foot until she's all better!
Get well enough to lounge by the pool with umbrella drinks....

I think that's an excellent idea. I slept on the sofa as my bed is so high it requires steps to get in and out of - TAH even made the bed this morning! I almost fainted!

I have to admit this made me laugh. Don't tell LB, though.

That's a bandage? On
your knee? I thought you would have found some kind of invisible, tanning, spray-on support.
Hope you're better today, and that the knee keeps feeling better every hour.

Well, they didn't allow my Sally Hansen spray on in the operating room! I am thinking about getting a pedicure though - I can't stand no polish on the toes!

Did they do a meniscectomy? Also which one was torn, the medial or the lateral?

I did have a menisectomy. I had a lateral tear and I think they just generally "clean house"
with other loose cartilage while they're in there.

So what color nail polish goes with that humongous bandage?

I did get that pedicure today and I went with Ca Ching Cherry. If I didn't have such ugly feet,
I'd post a photo for you.
