American Idol at MGM Studios

I read that last night. I told someone at work I bet they would use the PlayIt studio.
That could be a fun attraction.

It's actually gonna be in the old "Superstar Television" site at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the ABC Theatre, which has been dormant for quite awhile. The last time it was used was for the short-lived "Doug-the Musical". The old Playit! site is part of the area being reworked for the "Toy Story Mania" ride.

I think the only time we went NEAR Superstar television was to sit on the steps to watch the parade. I miss Superstar TV. Of course, I have a bit of bias in my soft spot for that attraction, as my very first WDW trip included watching my then 6-year old kid play Thurston Howell III.
