Why is all this fuss being made about Barack Obama possibly being the first Black president, when he seems to be just another white man running for the office. (Have you seen his mother?)
Meanwhile, how about that Tiger Woods? He really is opening doors for Asian golfers, . . . well, those doors that were not already opened by Isao Aoki, T.C. Chen, Vijay Singh, Pak See-ri, Jumbo Ozaki, or K.J. Choi.

One could make a case about Thomas Jefferson being the first Black president.
BTW, my favorite Japanese actress is Victoria Principal.

If she was born on the AFB where her father was stationed, this is incorrect.
The AFB would have been American territory.

It's possible, but I mentioned Victoria Principal cuz it gives me an excuse to say the name of the city she was born in: Fukuoka.

And don't you wish Harry Carey had a chance to pronounce his name?
