Need I say it?

Somewhere during the show D.L. made a joke about him being one of her distant cousins.

Maureen said that as soon as she saw "math" she went blank because it was not one of her better subjects. After a few moments the light dawned (you could see it on her face) and she gave the answer.

In Apollo 13 Jim Lovell's mother's name is given as "Blanche". I could eliminate that one, but wouldn't have been able to pick between A or D. So I JTQ.

I'm surprised Tennessee had such a strong spike

Answer

My thought was that it was D, because all of the other actresses were foreigners. But 1950 seems a little early for Elizabeth Taylor, so I'd JTQ.
