I worry too much about each appraisal I work on. I describe them as a Master's thesis due every month.
Working on one now for a new State Recreation Area. It was going to be a state park-but they re-classified it.
Anyway, sales of the kind I need are rare in the area. But while phoning contacts today, I found some more sales that illustrate the main point of this appraisal.
I have solved the key puzzle-now I just have to write it up.
To brag a little bit-The client for the appraisal, I worked on just before Christmas (A large land preservation group) said that it was the one of the best appraisals he had ever read-he was specifically talking about parts of the appraisal I wrote-So I got that going for me.
Saturday, I took the boys and walked over the subject (about 1 1/2 hours away) while Mrs S and the girl went shopping. That was fun and it is a neat piece of ground-as is most of the stuff I see.
I think I found my niche and I am fortunate enough that it fits with my farming.
Every one of these things turns my hair grayer

I have no idea why you would want to do THAT each month! They are no fun.I describe them as a Master's thesis due every month
