pergamon, but I was leaning to Galatea.

I would be PAF for sure if I could.

A. Colophon. The same word is the genus of the Stag Beetle, the name of an ancient city in Asia Minor, and the endpage (or section) of a book. In medieval times (and later), the colophon was where you could find the printing date, as well as the printer's mark.
Thanks for playing, everyone!

SC, why bother with the little piddly questions when you can go straight to the million, anyway, huh?

I leave the computer on while I'm doing other things, and I wander back here periodically. When I saw this question, I was sure I knew it. Even so, I realized it was dorky to answer without having done the earlier questions first. I promise to go back and do the earlier questions to find out how far I would have gotten before running into whichever lower value question would have prevented me from seeing this one. :)
