Wedding Blog - Big Day minus 187

BD has been noodging the bridesmaids to get their sizes to the bridal shop. NOW! We did get the information from one, and passed it along so that the shop could start entering them into their database. We also put down the deposit for this particular bridesmaid, who will pay us back. The others are on their own, but we wanted to start the ball rolling here.
BD's dress is due at the start of June, and GW's MotB dress the week before that. We are supposed to be informed of more accurate dates about a month ahead of those. Stay tuned.
Some of my stuff sold on eBay last night. Six of the nine items sold. Two of the others were longshots at best, though one did get a watcher. The third unsold item was a disappointment, though, one of my comics. No interest at all. It wasn't very valuable, but with its age and condition, I thought there would at least have been someone looking at it. Only 8 views, not many. I'll try relisting once, but will probably end up bundling it with other stuff and get what I can. Meanwhile, a few otherwise useless and space-filling items will be packed up tonight and out of the house tomorrow, and the net proceeds will pay for one tray of hors d'oeuvres or two meals. Hey, it's a start!
More on the food, tomorrow. The tasting is Thursday evening, and the florist we're looking at will also be there.
