I don't have my copy of the book with me. IIRC, it ends with a postscript featuring an older Harry and friends and their children departing for Hogwarts. Was this the final line of that section or of the previous section describing the showdown with Voldemort? If the latter, I'd say that Sarah has grounds for an appeal.

Wikipedia says:
Theodore Roosevelt National Park has continued thinning the herd, with several roundups conducted throughout the 1990s and first decade of the 21st century. In 2000, the last horse to be considered of "traditional" Nokota type was removed from the wild. The National Park Service currently maintains a herd of 70 to 110 horses.
That sounds like a pretty rare breed. How much publicity do they get, outside of North Dakota? I'd say this is a WWOQ.

From another website:

From Wild Horse to the Nokota Breed:
One Herd's Fight for Survival

One of the few North American wild horse herds remaining on National Park Service (NPS) lands in the United States are in Theodore Roosevelt National Park (THRO), located in southwestern North Dakota.
Because of it's administration by the NPS, the herd is relatively little known.

I agree Marley, little known.

Actually it's not originally a Greek word. It's a loan word from Persian, appearing three times in the Hebrew Scriptures (under the form pardesh.

Somehow I can't see someone attempting to run with waffle irons on the feet. I guess this means he used the iron to shape something from rubber or plastic. I'll JTQ.

Originally she intended the last word to be "scar" but she apparently changed her mind.

It's the last line of the epilogue, which is the conclusion of the book.

Okay, thanks. The quotation is accurate then, but I'd question the interpretation about that "signaling Lord Voldemort has finally been defeated." It seemed pretty clear to me that Voldemort had been defeated before reaching the epilogue. There was no comic-book-style the body is missing so maybe he's not really dead stuff or anything.
