I thought it might be the Civil War. My rationale was a belief that since that time the requirements for receiving the medal had become more restrictive.

A great number of MoHs during the Civil War were for capturing an enemy flag or preserving their unit's or the national flag.

I'm ticked at myself for not remembering this. There was a million-dollar question a little while back about when the only woman to get the honor served. I went to the Wikipedia entry about the Medal after I saw that question, and it contains a reasonably thorough discussion of its history. --Bob

Here's an article about Sara's appearance. She auditioned in September.

While stationed in North Carolina, Smith said she watched the show in Arabic to help her in her language studies. She’s now fluent.
Is the Arabic version of the show broadcast from Gastonia? :P

A - American Civil War

I'm sure glad I didn't get this one. I might have quickly and confidently answered WWII.
Question #4 (Net Names - Level 9)

D - YouTube
I would have needed seven, or maybe eight, clues to get this one.
