I hate it that he kept Gary. I know Mark did next to nothing to fight for himself, but..... really..... Busy has no clue.

What a joke.

I was looking for a cryptic one I love when I ran across it and remembered how great it was. I was looking for When Animal Mimicry Breaks Down for the Facebook thread...

That's my second favorite.

My favorite is the two cave men, each making a fist and one saying "Dang! Another tie!". The caption says "Before the invention of paper and scissors."

I've always like the one deer with a large bullseye on his chest and his friend says, "bummer of a birthmark".

Sweet Child of Mine, advised a school counselor, when they were giving him some test during a particularly difficult time of his life, that he was sometimes scared that a duck was watching him.

The counselor recommended that we get professional help for him.

I asked him where the duck was when it was watching him

He showed me the cartoon.

He was such a little dickens, but he ended up having to go to a psychologist for 6 months, as the counselor put it into an official recommendation at school.

I kept finding it when looking for the other deer one. I'm also looking for "Spare armadillo?"

Two guys sitting in a rowboat fishing. Mushroom clouds rising in the background. One guy says to the other: "I'll tell you what it means--it means we can use live bait and screw the limit."

My favorite one:

An astronaut on the moon reading a note while his spaceship flies away. The note says, "Henry - Where were you? We waited and waited but..."

I cut it out back in the late 80s and still have it somewhere, but I can't find it online.

Sweet Child of Mine managed to be ohhhh soooo sincere, that the counselor believed him and indicated in the report that he was at risk of paranoia, and also possible depressed and unstable. He was, at the time, 10 years old, and had the sense of humour of a college student. (My fault - I introduced him to Monty Python, Far Side etc, fairly early on in life LOL) I dint know about the Duck thing until halfway through the program.

The child psychologist who was lucky enough to get him, was also convinced for several months. They finally told me about the duck, and I found out what he had done. I showed the cartoon to the psychologist. They closed the file and sent us on our way.

That Easter, he got a duck in his basket

Ohhhhhhh! The psychologist wasn't the first person to hear the duck story.
