I had a vague recollection that he had designed a service station, but to know that it was the only one--and where it was? Definitely a WWOQ in my book.

This list says he designed two banks, but no bus depots or diners.

So are you familiar with the anecdote about Wright designing a bank with the first drive-up window? The bankers are said to have reacted with derision. Something like, "Are you crazy? Our customers want to walk into our office and take their time with their transactions."
