#@$$%%^& Beaufighters

#1 Post by Spock » Mon Jan 28, 2008 3:13 pm

My copy of this classic showed up today. However, I have a unique problem related to this book and it could lead to a multi-media marketing campaign for the book.

Ever since I ordered it-I find myself singing "Beaufighters in the Night" as a jingle to various tunes and melodies.

Try it-It works. Good luck getting it out of your head tho-after.

Several obvious retorts to this one:

"Oh, so you're the one?!"

"Dammit, Spock, I'm a doctor, not an author."

" Uh, wait, what?"

P.S. The original title was "The Hand-me-down Warriors." The publisher changed the title to the catchy moniker of today........

Sting has not started reading it yet.

He brought some book about Saudi Arabia and oil on this trip. He has promised to start reading your book when we return.

I will ask my dad if he started reading it yet when I see him next week.

It works for "Riders on the Storm" by the Doors.

I have a question for PSM that I have been meaning to ask you for awhile.

Why do you have a picture of younger me as your Avatar?

I recognize the picture from the time in the 80's when NDSU made the playoffs and some of us took our shirts off and ran around the field. Dec playoff game in Fargo. 2 of the guys with me made the front page of the Sunday Fargo Forum. I am guessing they had a file photo of me that is now making its way around the internets.

I must commend you on your photo-shopping skills-You cleaned me up considerable.

I see Le Mistral blowin'
I hear engines and the gun,
I smell radar sets smokin'
I feel bad guys on the run

So go and fly tonight,
You're bound to risk your life.

There's a Heinkel to the right...

*with apologies to CCR's "Bad Moon Rising"

It's Taylor Kitsch, Tim Riggins from Friday Night Lights.

I am going to change my avatar soon, but I just haven't decided on the picture.

Would you like to use a picture of me without a shirt on? It might be less distracting for the ladies.

Some of the animals in the link SC sent about the beetle would work.

I am still stitching on the binding of the quilt that is just about done so I can change mine.

Why, there's nothing distracting about it. I can concentrate on PSM's avatar without letting anything distract me!
